The Paul Nebenzahl Company is a Chicago-based management consultancy serving both non-profits and philanthropies with assignments at some of at some of America’s best-in-class institutions. Paul has assisted organizations in securing major funding for capital, endowment, research, programmatic and general operating requirements. With over four decades of successful leadership in programmatic and financial development, Paul has extensive experience in preparing institutions for advancement growth through strategic positioning, staff and volunteer training, leadership preparedness, succession and long-range planning. Paul has significant experience in guiding the financial development of institutions post-entitlement.
Paul's success in fundraising and institutional advancement is based on a thirty-year career serving institutions in public broadcasting, the arts, museums, medicine, higher education, social services, person-centered long-term care, religion, zoological gardens and philanthropies in a leadership staff capacity. Nebenzahl launched his consulting firm in 2006 with the Chicago History Museum as its anchor client, serving the Museum and its President for eight years.
The firm has also worked on a variety of health and long-term care related projects through the Hulda B. & Maurice L. Rothschild Foundation of Chicago, and its successor Foundation, The Mayer-Rothschild Foundation, for nearly two decades.
In January 2018 Paul was named Executive Director of The Mayer-Rothschild Foundation of Chicago.
